Polyglutamic Acid/PGA is not produced by the body but by a group of amino acids and good bacteria. Polyglutamic acid has a larger molecular size, so it can attract and seal in more water than Hyaluronic acid (HA). Cosmetic specialists note that Polyglutamic Acid/PGA is far more hydrating than Hyaluronic acid (HA), even though it’s not as well-known.
