Tween Series
TWEEN Seires product is also called as Polysorbate,is a hydrophilic and nonionic surfactant.It is safe and nonotoxic to add it in food as emulsifier when properly used.There are various types because of different fatty acids.The HLP value is between 9.6~16.7.It can dissolve in water,alcohol and other polar organic solvents,with the function of emulsification,solubilization and stabilization.

Applications:
TWEEN 20: Acts as an emulsifier for Oil/water systems and effective solubiliser for essential oils and perfumes in aqueous or aqueous/alcoholic systems. Used in skin care creams and lotions, clear systems eg. gels, hair care products, sun care, aftershaves, colognes, wetwipes, bath as well as shower products, cleaners, toners, specific skin care treatments, baby care, male grooming, shaving, color cosmetics and oral care.
TWEEN 40: Acts as oil/water emulsifier and wetting agent. Used as skin care creams and lotions, hair care, color cosmetics, lip as well as eye care, specific skin care treatments, sun protection, after-sun, self-tanning, baby care and male grooming.
TWEEN 60: Acts as oil/water emulsifier. Used in skin care creams and lotions, hair care, color cosmetic, sprayable emulsions, eye care, feet, hands as well as nails, specific skin care treatments, sun protection, after-sun, self-tanning, baby care, male grooming and shaving.
TWEEN 80: Acts as oil/water emulsifier and dispersant. Has good solubilising properties. Used in skin care creams and lotions, clear systems eg. gels, hair care products, sun care, color cosmetics, detergent cleansers, eye care, feet, hands, nails, specific skin care, treatments, deodrants/antiperspirants, baby care, male grooming, oral care, sprayable emulsions, cleansers, toners, eye care, skincare – specific treatments, feet, hands as well as nails, sun protection and after-sun.
