Alpha-Arbutin is a biosynthetic glycoside with excellent skin lightening properties for a perfect even skin tone.  It is able to effectively inhibit melanin synthesis by inhibition of tyrosinase, this effect is achievable even at very at low concentrations. Alpha Arbutin exhibits impressive tyrosinase inhibition and is nine times more effective than Beta-Arbutin. Very low IC50 values indicates the power of  Alpha-Arbutin.
